What defines a Person Part 2
You see 3years ago Tunde (lets call him that) bought his brand new Toyota yaris and moved into his rented, stylish 2 bedroom flat in the city, Since he was not into any relationship that has the vocabulary ''serious'' in it. He felt he should not waste any time building a relationship yet rather ravish all the Georgeous and shapy ladies that fell prey to his charm, 6f 5inches, body of an athlete, handsome, comfortable with a car and a house, most importantly single and ready to mingle. These qualities alone made him a prospective husband and every ladies dream man or a prospective player. You see with comfort and freedom comes responsibilties and choices to make.
Tunde felt testing the water for a while would pay him more, instead of searching for someone to have a serious relationship with, his choice would either make or mar him. The decision made, a player born, tunde spent every weekend and public holiday clubbing and changing ladies as if they were money. ''if you know what I mean''
In that same city a good girl from a well to do home just got her heart ripped off and tossed to the ground by her boyfriend of 3yr, a fourth yr student, studying Engineering and she was well known around campus as a brilliant, focused and mannered lady, a friend to all and helper to those in need. He cheated on her and he was her first everything, for the first time in her life she bacame a shadow of herself, for 2 weeks no one saw her and no one heard from her. During her hibernation period she came to the conclusion that no man is worth her love or body and swore that no man was going to use her and dump her, instead the opposite would be the case. In need of companionship she joined a group of three radical and daring females, together they partied, drank and fought for each other, they always had each other's back.
17:45 on a friday tunde headed out to the campus for a new catch as usual not knowing that destiny has arranged a future that he would not want to see, only if he knew. As he drove to the usual hostel he picks his freebies as fine boy concern, he saw her, shaped like the Greek goddess Ethana, her breast though real but looked like the perfect breast implant ever made by Dr. Ray in the programme 90210, her waist line should be left for the imagination to roam. Damn she is Beautiful he said to himself. He walked up to her and introduced himself to her and asked if they could sit and talk, she agreed and surprisingly tunde did the unusual, he didn't go clubbing on that night rather he was nice and humble, funny and sensitive, a listener and knowledgeable, she fell instantly and so they began to see more often.
Her name is Laura and she confided in him about all the pains she had gone through and they became close, real close but still tunde was breaking his personal record, they were not intimate, just really close friends. She finally came to spend the weekend with tunde, on arriving she went into the kitchen and made him something really nice and they both watched a movie together, gisted and had a good laugh. He had his bath and lay on his bed while she went to have her bath also. Coming out of the bath room with a see through night gown that would make any man challenge the god of thunder Zeus to a duel just so as to get 'some' even if it's for just 5 seconds. She lay beside him and asked him if he was for real and promise not to hurt her in any way. He promised and declared his unending love for her and so he had her through out the weekend.
Six months into the relationship she then took the three members of her group or gang of females friends, her activities with them had reduced to its minimal and so they rarely saw and so when she finally came across three of them, she was happy and took them to tunde's place since that was where she was headed to spend the weekend.
Tunde met the ladies and was introduced to them by laura his girlfriend. They were looking very sexy and scantily dressed and so that night they all hit the club, dancing and partying hard at the same time getting acquainted with each other. Laura never knew that what would happen next would destroy her life.
Laura travelled home to visit her folks and so on that weekend her friends, three of them came over to tunde's and went clubbing with him, after drinking and partying they went back home where tunde knowingly had a threesome with the ladies ''every players (guys)dream'' and to make matters worse he videoed it, every little detail. That was not the first time he had done something like that, laura also has been an actress on several of his set without her knowledge or consent. You see tunde has a passion in cinematography and so he loves covering events with his video camera as a past time and for fun. When she came back from her trip every one acted as if nothing happened and so they lived happily like stranger pretending to be nice.
On tunde's 29th birthday laura decided to surprise him with a party and so she invited his friends, some close family members and her friends also. Surprise he was and so the party was a success until one of tunde's friend decided to press the play button on the dvd, because he was bored. A night before, tunde had watched his masterpiece and was very proud of his work, but as nature would have it he forgot the dvd had an eject button. 41 inches LCD television was what tunde has and immediately the screen turned from blue into pictures of not just the threesome video made by tunde instead the the television was shared into four parts thanks to the expartise of tunde's knowledge on cinematography, each part of the screen had his girlfriend laura and her friends all screaming and having sex, this was happening inside the house while tunde went to see a friend off. As he came into the room it was quiet like a grave yard at midnight while loud moaning and name calling filled the air.
Laura was mad her friends where shocked and dumb founded, Tunde's birthday came to an end with Laura friends and family watching an original porno of both her and her close gang friends. The gang of four were shamed in front of friends and family.

What defines a person.
What defines us? Is it the cloths we wear? The way we walk? The way we eat? The things we eat? The way we talk? The friends we keep? The action we take when face with a situation? What then defines us as a person?
She was going back home and it was quite late, not her usual time but she was delayed at work. She is always scared of the dark and a dark alley awaits her... It never crossed her mind that this night would change her life into a shadow of the former.
Click click the sound of her silhouette and nearer she is drawn to a new begining.
She is 26 with lots of prospect in life, an accountant with an oil firm. A job she finally got after 5years of walking round the width and breathe of the country. A charming guy in her life who loves her no matter what, been together for over 3yrs now.
Getting nearer to the dark alley but reassuring herself that within two months she could afford a car and then see the darkness of the alley no more. If only she knew.
Inside of the alley someone is being raped, she heard the cry and appeal but was confused because the voice was that of a male. Curiosity took the better part of her as she forge ahead into the alley.
What she behold froze her bones, 4 ladies, with both guns and machete taking turn with the love of her life, his car parked by the side.
He rose his face up with all the strenght he could muster and his eyes begged her to save him, she screamed and began to beg the ladies to let her and her man go.
The roar of laughter that took place perplexed and frightened her at the same time . Who were this ladies and what had he done to them to deserve the treatment they have poured out on him...
End of Part one.... What would you do in her place?

NIGERIA MUST BE BETTER...
Nigeria Must be Better ...
April 22, 2012 at 10:55pm
Chain of events, overlooking the unnecessary which is necessary.
Every change or event is sparked by a word, a stand, an emotion, or in general an act... Was told a story today by Fela Durotoye and was moved and I have a push on the inside to share, Fela is a Man I wish our rulers can have a little of his foresight about what he see's as the future of Nigeria and as a Nigerian, I align myself with his vision and in his mission to stir a positive reaction that would lead to a reversal of the mentality we all have of our Country.
The story: A man was driving along Lagos - Ibadan express way and due to portholes he was trying to swerve from, his car somersaulted in the process; this is not just an accident that occured to maybe an average man, no, it happened to a very wealthy man. He was rushed to the nearest hospital by the road side and behold the hospital was medically empty from supplies and due to that, no treatment could be administered and he died.
Back to the wealthy man, it could be that he drives through that road often and he see's the cottage hospital along the road and pities those who get medical treatment there, since he has a personal doctor in London who is on his speed dial and who takes care of him and his family. The reason for his death is not because he had an accident, No, the reason for his death is because of the poor state of medical supplies in the hospital.
Now lets use our imagination and watch the how the story could have changed if the so called wealthy man stops on one of his trips and ask the doctors there what they need to effectively and efficiently manage medical emergencies, that is listen and solve the problems they have not as temporal but continous because he feels bad that with his wealth and the fact that he has travelled far and wide, it is disheartening to see such a hospital in his dear country. If he had done that and unfortunately the accident occurred will he be dead now or alive??? Ponder on that.
The way most Nigerian live there life's is like, I and my family alone, go to hell the rest but is that wise??? When emergency occur will you call your foreign doctor to come over or will u be rushed to the nearest hospital and woe to you if you acted as if you can never be taken to that kind of a place, I am sorry to say but ''O' death where is thy sting'' will be asked all because the hospital was ill equiped. Every Nigerian has a role to play no matter how small, playing the role consistently will attract attention and with attention the mindset of people will be changed and a little act has stired a change of multiple mindset into positive act and reaction.
In my country we always complain of the problem we have, but I got illumination into the fact that Problem creates wealth where their is solution because when problem arises and solution is brought forth that creates value being that the solution is ''valued'' and with that wealth is created which inturn leads to prosperity for a nation; every problem is a potential time bomb for prosperity but where their is no solution, value is not created and wealth is nowhere but unfortunately prosperity turns into poverty. Does this illustration make you feel that Nigeria and Nigerians suffer from this plot??? I felt that way and I made a personal decision to look out for problems and profer solutions in other to prosper. We are a great nation with a great people but unfortunately we are scared to stand alone in other to lead the train for change, well I am here to tell you that millions out there are awaiting for you to take a step and with that a million people will take a step too and that leads to a million and one step.
Unfortunately our educational system is almost dead but does that mean those who have the money should send their kids abroad for the best education only for them to come back and take the best jobs??? No I say because the right thing is to stand and say Nigeria education system must be revived because if their kids go abroad to get the best and come back getting the best jobs, those kids that could not get the best education at home or abroad will rob and kill those who could afford the best. But there is hope and the hope is in everyone making sure that Nigeria gives the best and Nigerians get the best in Nigeria and how do we achieve these??? It is to be united in our goal, trust me when we have one voice, one mind, not shadowed by religion, ethnicity or what have you we will succeed and we shall be heard Genesis 11:3-6 it explains what happens when people have just one mind and purpose. Let us all have one purpose to make Nigeria better than what our parents left for us and to leave a better Nigeria for our children born and unborn.
I believe in this Country and in the people, knowing fully well that were all born here for a reason to build a better Nigeria that will reclaim its position amongst the committee of Nations. I was surprised when Fela durotoye said 40yrs ago his parent travelled from canada to come to Nigeria in other for him to be born at the University Teaching Hospital in Ibadan which was the premier hospital in the whole of Africa. He went further to say then the $3 was 1naira and 89 kobo was £1... We can still get back our lost glory and to begin we have to start by changing our mind set.
Little things matter, don't lither the environment, obey traffic rules and light, be puntual cos the time is universal and there is nothing like Nigeria time etc.
On a later date a memoradum shall be raised for our education sector to be cleaned up and free of corruption, giving the best which is the first step of ending corruption because if those coming out of schools are taught well and have an incorruptible mindset then our success as a nation has begun. The electronic document will be signed by over a million Nigeria on the urgent need for the government to cleanse and fund our educational sector to get the best. Hope to get your signature.
I am a Nigerian and I am tired of this Nigeria but I choose to stay and make it a better Nigeria than the one my parents left, with the help of you and I we shall overcome, so help us God.
